Primary School Overview
Research indicates that the paths to success or failure in science and engineering are often paved from kindergarten through fifth grade. Some of the greatest gaps exist in quality science and engineering education during the primary school years.
Our primary school science and engineering curriculum covers concepts in depth and their applications in Earth and Planetary Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemistry and Life Sciences (including, biology and environmental sciences).
Each learning unit (four to six classes) includes a science and an innovation lab. Enrolled students engage in six to nine learning units per academic year. With a focus on depth rather than breadth, students deepen their critical thinking skills and understanding. This process provides anchors for meaningful breadth learning.
